Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Boise, ID)

Lumen Glen Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field inspections, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around equipment calibration against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
