Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Boise, ID)

Stonegate Quill Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Boise, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
