Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Boise, ID)

Greenridge Keystone Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Boise with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people based in Boise. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around weigh tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
