Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Austin, TX)

Rivermark Yarrow Health is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people based in Austin. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient education, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
