Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Corner Medical is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory submissions, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
