Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Spokane, WA)

Stonegate Quill Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in Spokane with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with reviews and feedback.
