Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Seattle, WA)

Westbrook Stone Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
