Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Seattle, WA)

Greenridge Ember Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tooling, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
