Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Pine Auto Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
