Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Clearpath Beacon Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Minneapolis producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical studies, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with clinical studies. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
