Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Clearpath Loom Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Cleveland region, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around warranty claims against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer estimates, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
