Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Harborlight Yarrow Banking Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to card disputes, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
