Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Bluepeak Corner Medical is a Austin company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
