Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Highbridge Keystone Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Denver area. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
