Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Yarrow Care Services and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be accounts payable. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around licensing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
