Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Summit Ivory Health Partners provides primary and specialty care in Boise, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
