Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Westbrook Stone Care Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
