Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Silverline Beacon Press Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 740 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to print quotes, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
