Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Clearpath Timber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Seattle, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around complaint handling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
