Senior Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Harborlight Forge Telecom Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
