Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Drift Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Pittsburgh, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to electronic records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
