Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Philadelphia, PA)

Silverline Fox Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around classroom supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with licensing records.
