Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Orlando, FL)

Summit Bright Auto Group is a Orlando company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
