Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Lakeside Care Services supports families and individuals in Orlando with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around licensing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
