Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Orlando, FL)

Redstone Vale Community Partners is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to volunteer shifts, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around client intake against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
