Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Oklahoma City, OK)

Bright Cobalt Pharma Partners supports drug development and manufacturing around Oklahoma City, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to batch records, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
