Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Memphis, TN)

Stonegate Rook Press is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to print quotes, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
