Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Las Vegas, NV)

Highbridge Ivory Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 476 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to network equipment, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
