Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Fort Worth, TX)

Stonegate Pharma is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for regulatory filings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory filings. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
