Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Fort Worth, TX)

Ironwood Vista Medical Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical evaluations, and clear open items. • Track costs around complaint handling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinical evaluations.
