Senior Accountant - accounts payable (El Paso, TX)

Greenridge Wren Care Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 726 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. • Track costs around caregiver training against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
