Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Health Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be accounts payable. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around electronic records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
