Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Cincinnati, OH)

Greenridge Vista Financial Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to loan applications, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
