Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Ivory Health runs clinics and patient services around Buffalo, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
