Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fern Facilities and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boise. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around cleaning schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supply orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
