Senior Accountant - accounts payable (Albuquerque, NM)

Bluepeak Cedar Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Albuquerque, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
