Sales Representative - territory development (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Summit Clear Freight and adding a Sales Representative whose main responsibility will be territory development. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around carrier rates clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling carrier rates. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
