Sales Representative - territory development (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Field Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Virginia Beach with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Explain our services around store inventory clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
