Sales Representative - territory development (San Jose, CA)

Fernwood West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the San Jose region. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around usage data clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling usage data. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
