Sales Representative - territory development (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Sparrow Freight is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on territory development for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around proof of delivery clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling proof of delivery. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
