Sales Representative - territory development (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Granite Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its San Diego plant, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around scrap and rework clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling scrap and rework. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
