Sales Representative - territory development (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Fern Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in San Diego with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Explain our services around landfill records clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
