Sales Representative - territory development (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Thistle Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Sacramento. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around promotions clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling promotions. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
