Sales Representative - territory development (remote)

Northwind Yarrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Des Moines, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around customer specifications clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
