Sales Representative - territory development (remote)

Harborlight Banking Services is a regional lender in Portland with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. You would join a large organisation of about 265 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around loan files clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling loan files. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
