Sales Representative - territory development (remote)

Northwind West Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of San Jose, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around dock schedules clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
