Sales Representative - territory development (remote)

Stonegate Birch Freight is a Des Moines logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around carrier rates clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling carrier rates. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
