Sales Representative - territory development (Providence, RI)

Cedar Timber Insurance is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on territory development for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 976 people based in Providence. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around underwriting files clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling underwriting files. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
