Sales Representative - territory development (Portland, OR)

Northwind Meridian Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Portland, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain our services around ingredient orders clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
