Sales Representative - territory development (Madison, WI)

Northwind Maple Manufacturing is a Madison manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around customer orders clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling customer orders. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
